Hi! I'm Gowtham. I love getting to the bottom of what makes things work and using data to power research and civic tech causes.

Currently, I am working as a Data scientist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. I work with a team of biostaticians, doctors, epidemiologists, and researchers to study menstrual health in collaboration with Apple and the NIEH on the Apple women's health study. The Apple women's health study (AWHS) is a 10-year longitudinal study to gain a deeper understanding of how certain demographic and lifestyle factors could have an impact on menstrual cycles and gynecologic conditions including infertility, menopause, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

I'm very passionate about current affairs, electoral politics, and being civically responsible and engaged. I come from an Economics & Political science background that informs my data science work.

My favorite things to do when I'm not crunching data: Chess, discussing politics with anyone that'll listen, scouting new boba & fusion spots, hiking, theorizing about Marvel movie plots, phone banking to turn out the vote, and reading
